Hello!

We are looking for 1 player to join our group to play Symbaroum, starting with playing through The Copper Crown, and seeing where it takes us from there.

It's not truly a paid campaign, as the DM I want to make sure that inquiries are serious, and a one-time $25 cost is to help offset the cost of server hosting and material costs.

About us:
We are a group of longtime friends that have been playing RPG's (both videogame's and tabletops) for 20 years. Being in our mid 30's with small kids and demanding jobs, we look forward to our Sunday nights to unwind with some good fun around the (virtual) table, and we will continue doing so for as long as we can.

We are largely new to Symbaroum, having only played the short adventure from the core book, so we make many mistakes and are very much still learning. That said, we do try and get the rules correct while making an effort to not grind sessions to a halt.
Ultimately, we chill out on Sunday nights with a primary goal of having fun, which includes some RPGs, and banter.

About you:

We have been playing together for going on 10 years, and are looking for someone who wants to integrate into our small community and be a consistent participant. I am not terribly interested in people who show up Sunday nights, and then aren't heard from again until next week. That's just not how we play or what we're about.

We believe that there is a certain minimum level of effort required to be a productive player, and ideally an asset to our small community. These things include:

1. knowing your class/character (to a reasonable level)
   
2. being on-time to sessions as best as possible
   
   1. putting forth your best effort to not be an asshole, and always remember to read the room
      You do not need to have any prior knowledge of the system as long as you're willing to learn, and interact with both the system and the other players. Again, new players are more than welcome at our table.

The game:
We will be playing through the pre-written adventures for Symbaroum, so obviously its important that you haven't played them.

We believe in serious risk to set the tone for our games. While I (the GM) do not intentionally make the game more difficult, we do not believe in plot armor, I do not fudge rolls, and character deaths do happen.
