I could just use some loving. I'm taking care of a litter of six and their mom which has been, for the most part, truly delightful. I put them to bed last night and everyone was fine, they're three weeks old and just starting to play and explore. I woke up to one of them lying limp on the floor with vomit on his face, but conscious enough to yell at me. I had to have left for work five minutes ago, so my husband ran him into the shelter.
We assumed he had used his new mobility to wander off the kitten pile and got too cold. The shelter warmed him up and gave him fluids and sent him home. Now he's having explosive, liquid diarrhea. All he does is sleep or scream and he won't latch on mama. The shelter told me to syringe feed him and bring him in in the morning if he doesn't improve. He screams like I'm hurting him every time I stimulate him or try to feed him. It sucks. His siblings seem fine, but I'm keeping a close eye just in case.
