V3 pedals?

How's everyone else's experience with v3 pedals? When I'm using the brake it feels like it takes forever to come to a full stop. So crashing at a turn seems to be the only way to slow down easily. Anyone else having this problem or is it an option I need to configure? I've only had my V3 pedals for month so Im still getting a feel for them.
