Did Fortnite buff Aim assist for controllers AGAIN?

I just watched a video on YouTube regarding the new update. In the video the guy mentioned there were leaks that forbite has buffed aim assist for controller players. Is this true? How can epic possibly think controller players need less aim assist? The guy making the video mentioned there were 96 kbm players and 4 controller players in the past fncs… if this is true is epic trying to get rid of controllers players… they can’t be playing the same game as me if they really think this is a good move.
