Is switch players need our own servers ie. just switch and mobile players in our lobbies cause even if we are like 0 ping and no frame drops we still only get 30fps and even when I play with my old squad whoâs all Xbox series s itâs almost as if there teleporting around me and half their sounds donât make noise as there moving at a higher pace then our game can even register whatâs happening as on series s there getting 120 almost a whole extra hundred frames per second which in a game like Fortnite is a major difference and disadvantage. Mind you Iâve always been a better player then my group if we were say in a ffa with equal loot etc. for the most part usually Iâm clapping them but now Iâm on switch and there still on the series s itâs flipped the other way even tho my game sense and skills are above theirs (building, editing, shooting) but yet as there games moving an extra hundred frames a second which again is big makes it almost impossible to do the stuff I used to which is why WE NEED SPLIT LOBBIES. Based on fps or just devices in general.
And before anyone says âoh if we do that then it defeats Fortniteâs original focusâ which mind you is already gone as now all Fortnite really cares about is what big new colab could they do to make shit tonnes of cash. Which is why most colabs today are some big anime like JJK, DBS, NARUTO, MHA, and so many more anime colabs currently too but also stuff from popular games or movies like halo skin Batman dc in general marvel tomb raider terminator and still a bunch more. Yes there original âgoalâ was to have people from any platform in anyplace in the world can play together and early on in fortnight it worked but now when the skill ceiling is so high and thereâs such a big gap between the âbotsâ and the âprosâ but not even just between the two polar opposites even just between bad to okay or okay to good or good to great or great to goated or pro thereâs major gaps and most them gaps also have clear showing of what system sits where on the table of best system to play Fortnite on such as high end pc on top then mid level pc and the new gen consoles such as series s/x or the ps5 then goes the normal Xbox one n ps4 then you got high end android gaming phones then switch and mobile are even at the bottom. There may be a few players who are anomalies and donât fall under this but those people arenât common.
And so itâs clear these âsplitâ lobbies in referring to is only if youâre playing solos or with other people on the same console or same fps (and that doesnât include pc turning down fps cause thatâs not accurate at all unless youâre locking ur monitor to 30fps and pc aswell not just fn settings) but if say your on the switch but you pair up with a mate on xbox series s then youâll be getting mixed lobbies of people who are also in a mixed squad or duo
But what do you all think about this does it sound like a good idea. Or if itâs a bit confusing ask me about whatâs confusing you
