Why is the January crew pack a character we already have?

I hate that I already have like 2 or 3 versions of this girl. Now I get to pay for a version of a girl I dont even use. Epic your lucky this is month 6 and I want that 6th backpack and harvesting tools evolution. But after this cycle im done with the fortnite club. Was cool when the monthly characters were new and fresh. Old re-colored skins, not so much. And I love the new season. The game feels good. Just less than happy to pay for this skin. I dont get why everyone is happy about winter sloan. Hell I barely ever see her running around in game.
