Can someone say for for if milestone XP counts in Team Rumble?

I tracked a few different milestones, (harvest mats, elims, destroy trees) and they counted towards progress in TR, but after I completed a couple of milestones I’m not sure if the actual XP from completion counted. Does anyone know for sure? I don’t want to waste my milestone XP or my time in TR if it isn’t going to count. Thanks
