AFK XP in Creative

I'm never done some thing like this and wanted to try it. Some googling got me this.
I've tried it, I couldn't totally walk away as my player would drift out of the loop, or my controller would fall asleep. But it ran for over 75 minutes and I did not get 126k of XP, somehow I completed 5 quests and got about 25k XP
Any thoughts, does this not work, did I do it wrong.
