I was a percussionist for 10 years, I have all these mallets and sheet music, and I would definitely pay for several 2-5hr sessions, but I can’t transport, store, or even use for a short period a marimba in my home.
Does such a thing exist? I never see marimbas outside percussion programs like universities and high schools, and I don’t know what interest/capability they would have in letting an unaffiliated, out of practice person (very responsible and experienced though) just sort of come practice.
I would be willing to work with a vibe if that’s available, but I don’t really want to practice on a xylophone.
Let me know if you or anyone you know can help!
