I'm deeply sad that the Rifles of the Emir author pulled out. I get why but I was dying for that book.
I'm going off of memory so I wouldn't swear my life on it. When the whole thing blew up, I recall the author releasing a statement saying that he'd pulled the book.
There was a date for the book's release at that point and after the statement the date got changed to basically "Coming Soon." I don't know if there were negotiations that took a while or if Headstamp just wasn't fast about updating their website.

IIRC it was back when Headstamp was going to publish the "memoirs" of a neo-nazi that fought in Ukraine and there was a big backlash to it. Part of that was that author withdrawing his manuscript.
