I want to be a profitable trader but continue to hold myself back. Looking to hear the honest truth.

Post Body

I am currently 21 turning 22 this year and I’ve been trading for three years and have been on and off demo and live accounts. This year I have stayed on live accounts because my strategy works, however it is the discipline when it comes to real money that I am still struggling to attain. These past couple months I’ve just been in a bad cycle. I deposit $100, gain a significant percentage and then lose it all the same way I made it. I know I over leverage based on my account size, however I feel that my issue is keeping my profits once I am in profits, or just being greedy and wanting more. Recently I’ve noticed that my initial entry is the premium move, however because I fixate on the balance, i try to close and secure but end up hunting another entry which doesn’t end up working out. Please feel free to be as brutally honest as I know what I am doing is not a sustainable way of trading. However I am still looking to grow a small account of $100 over a long period of time so please keep that in mind if you would like to provide me with some advice. Thank you!
