Is working for a prop firm a good idea?

Post Body

I have capital (above 60k) I figure I could take an online class and try to start learning by myself, or would it be smarter to work for a prop firm and quit my job? (Currently make around 65k, management). It’s a hard decision. My job is easy but not satisfied. I love trading stocks and want a job where I can be remote as I live out in the country. Thanks
