Update of this post.

First of all thanks for all of your advice, I was clearly over-reacting. Turns out it wasn't even the same guy so everything was fine, haha.

How the date went: He had clearly lied about his height because I wore flat boots (I'm 5'10) and when I got there I was definitely at least 2 inches taller than him (he said he was 5'11). He also didn't even offer to pay for my coffee, spent most of the time shitting on his past profession as a Nurse, saying he could be more important as a Doctor and that he didn't like working with so many women. (For clarity's sake, he is now in school trying to gain the credit needed to go to Med school.)

Basically, he seemed well-intentioned enough but he was pretty self-obsessed. I went into it prepared to talk quite a bit since his profile said he was quiet but it turned out not be necessary at all. He barely gave me a chance to tell him anything about myself at all. When finally talked about me (for roughly 30 seconds) I told him my major (I'm in Psych), and the only think he asked me were "What are some easy Psych courses I can take to boost my GPA?"

So yeah, not really someone I was interested in at all. Strangely, even though he was kind of rude and surely not interested in me, this experience actually boosted my self-esteem because it made me realize that I do actually have the social skills to do this stuff. I also feel way better about my single status. Thanks for the support, my loves.
