Hi, this blank textbox is intimidating to summarize everything I want to say here.

I'm 26, going to school for art therapy, that's a painting and psychology degree, and moving to Chicago in a year for my masters. My support system is getting married and moving away (all my friends and family are) and I really want to build up more friendships and a relationship if it works out that way.

A little about me-i love painting, photography, philosophy, science, astrology (yeahyeahhh ik) plants, and animals.i have a dog and I foster through animal control and local shelters when I can. I'm not a socialist but I am moderate left in that there should be equality for all and we still are absolutely not there. And that capitalism is the root of all evil. (Well, late stage capitalism specifically). I believe the patriarchy and toxic masculinity hurts men as much as it hurts women and we should be fighting this together. I don't say these things to argue with anyone but to just let you know where I am and so you can see if you can meet me here or not.

I'm going to try the Cyber friendship thing but my love languages are definitely quality time and physical touch. So, if I really like you, I'm really going to want to see you and be with you.

What I'm looking for- a genuine connection. We treat each other like authentic considerate human beings not as a prize to win by acting like someone else( can you tell how low the bar has had to me☹️)

Just be you. It will be so much better that way! And remember I'm a psych major I can see your real intention pretty quickly.
