I was finally diagnosed with Aspergers at 28. I’ve always had problems socializing with women, it’s making me feel hopeless that I would never find a partner. I’ve been told I would make a great dad but I have to meet someone first. That’s how the process works, right? I didn’t get the manual.
I learned a lot about what I’m attracted to, so here’s a non-exhaustive list: Caucasian women, taller women, older women, successful (career-minded) women.
That last one is huge because I am sure of my abilities career-wise and I believe that men should not be self-conscious if their female partners are earning more than they are.
Would you want to know if your partner had some sort of invisible disability like autism? I feel terms like neurodivergence/ADD/ADHD are thrown around too easily these days. Has anyone had any successful stories of people on the spectrum?
I’ve done a few of these posts in the past so feel free to read my post history.
