Hey I'm Matthew and I'm 24 and from Australia! A little south of Sydney to be more precise. I am sure we are all browsing this community for various reasons but for me it's because I am honestly fairly lonely and trying to find someone to get close to.

I've recently (read: again) deleted most of my dating profiles and apps as I really don't think they are great for my mental health but I am sure I am not the only one that gets the itch to download them again every now and then and see if much has changed. Unsure if I look like a thumb or if it's because I smile like this in all of my profile pictures but I haven't had much luck in those spheres.

I'm pretty shocking at talking about myself so I'm just gonna rattle some dot points off about me as a starter.

• I am unfortunately that stereotypical Computer Science major. Currently I am working in the tech-finance sector which is an industry that I didn't really expect to end up in but I am enjoying it nonetheless.
• Pretty sure it goes hand-in-hand with the above point but I am a pretty big gamer and adore anything Sci-Fi/space/fantasy related. My all time favourite universes have to be LoTR, Star Wars and The Expanse.
• Recently I have also been getting into everything to do with Formula 1. This also includes joining a sim-racing community and getting absolutely smashed in the weekly races as I am still very much a rookie.
• As for appearances I am 173cm tall so not crazy tall or anything like that so sorry giant hunters. I have short brown hair and blue eyes and have that pasty white gamer boi skin you all know and love. Pretty crappy description so take this instead, now do you see the resemblance to the cat?

As for what I am looking for, well I have never been in a relationship before so that would be a great start. Chalk it up to me being a fairly shy and quiet guy or just being a little unlucky... not sure.

I know this is actually pretty late seeing as Valentine's day is tomorrow haha so the ship might have sailed there but I would still love to chat to all of you lovely people. Preferably I would be looking for people in Australia and somewhat close by but please don't let that stop you from messaging me if you think we would click. Other than that I don't really have an preferences so I hope to hear from you soon!
