It's that time of year again, the time when lonely human beans like you and me are bombarded with reminders of our current relationship status in the form of pink hearts, teddy bears and romantic adverts for chocolate. Buy this for your boyfriend, do that for your girlfriend, it just doesn't stop. It's cheesy and commercial and invented to sell cards but honestly, I don't care. I'm a sucker for romance and what can be better than an entire holiday based around it? A day to love and be loved, it's perfect. Unfortunately for me, I've been Valentineless for 24 out of the past 25 years so usually I try to dismiss and ignore the holiday. But not this year. This year, I'm determined to find somebody. Somebody sweet, somebody kind, somebody who's a lonely romantic just like me. Somebody like you.

But I wouldn't expect you to just jump into my arms simply because I posted a paragraph of cheesy romantic rambling, you want to know about me. Well, this is me. I'm a 25 year old guy from England. I'm currently in my final year of university studying computer science and to be perfectly honest, I'm a lil' bit of a nerd. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, playing video games, playing board games, cooking (sometimes baking) and playing D&D with my friends. I just started reading A Way of Kings so if there's any Brandon Sanderson fans out there looking to nerd out, let me know. I enjoy most forms of music but metal and 80s rock have to be my favourites. My sense of humour consists of dad jokes and puns that are so bad it makes you groan.
