It's pretty weird out there right now, as we all know. I for one was quite enjoying having so much free time thanks to some, in my opinion, fairly minor medical conditions preventing me from going to work for four weeks. Work will still be there for me when this is all done, so I'm not concerned. But there is something, or in this case, someone, else that I'd really like to get to when all the social distancing and hoopla is done.
Honestly, I'm pretty awful at this whole dating thing. It all seems so fake sometimes, and I'm sure being as introverted as I am certainly doesn't help. But with that said, I'd like to get to know someone during this time where so many have more free time than they know what to do with. However, not necessarily by endlessly chucking orange envelopes back and forth, or, more realistically, hurling a couple orange envelopes around before one or both people get bored and just stop responding. Instead, let's do something while we learn about each other. You know, like going out on one of those date things I keep hearing about. But without potentially giving each other a possibly fatal disease, and over that one program whose name is synonymous with chaos and rhymes with "this chord".
For instance, there's always a number of video games. Animal Crossing is an option, as well as the other typical Switch fare. There's Steam as well, though I'm loaded mostly with less than usual multiplayer things. Tabletop Simulator, maybe?
Now, I'll keep the part that I struggle with the most brief and reduced to bullet points.
Six foot nothing, 260-ish pounds of will-try-to-pick-you-up
My friends regularly describe me as "weird", and I'm inclined to agree.
I'm a musician. I may or may not be a good one, though.
My music tastes generally hover around the realm of harsh and/or experimental.
My other hobbies include woodworking, computer building, and writing.
I love nonsensical humor, and my references are stuck in the 90's and early 00's.
Cuddly. My love language is touch. You've been warned.
I understand that I'm probably not a lot of people's idea of a catch, let alone a catch-and-release, but I'm looking for the person that I would be so excited to get to meet in person once this pandemic thing wears down.
A quick note: I know I put M4R, but I am generally more attracted to women and more feminine men. Call it heteroflexible, I guess. And like it says at the top, I am only looking for a potential romantic relationship. Preferably with someone in the states, but I'm open to across a border or an ocean or two.
I look forward to hearing from you, whoever you are. If you do take the time out of your day to send a message, please include your favorite word.
