Do you know the definition of insanity?

I finally have a steady job that allows me to have time for myself, and money to spend, but I've got no one to share that time with. I would really like to change that.

When I'm not working in San Bernardino, I'm doing my best to get a band off the ground and out into the world so maybe someday I won't have to work for a living, but play for one. Aside from that, I enjoy playing video games, most recently metroidvania games and occasionally things like Binding of Isaac, among other random things.

I'd like to find someone who shares at least some of the same interests I do, especially a love for music. Someone who would like a best friend to talk to, see, listen, sympathize with, and generally love.

EDIT: I will take the random, and rude, downvote as a sign that something was lacking from my post. Given that it was made from my phone at the end of my lunch break, I can see why. Now I'm here to expand.

The place that I work at is basically a warehouse, where I stuff things into boxes or bags and send them on their merry way to be shipped all over the country. I must be stupidly detail oriented at all times to make sure I don't screw up, mix up, or generally fudge an order, and, considering I was held on after the holiday buying season, I guess I fit that qualification. I must also be quick and good with my hands, and I have only gotten better, since I have been using the rare down time wisely to practice balancing things on my hand, such as brooms and flattened boxes. Whole lotta lifting too!

The band I'm currently in is a weird mish mash of... a lot of stuff. I summarize it pretty vaguely, yet accurately, by calling the style of music 'experimental metal'. What might be even more off putting interesting is that it's just me, on bass and too many effects, and a drummer. We're getting to the point that we're just about ready to record our first EP, and then start getting out and playing for real. In addition to that, I will be finally starting a second band very soon; a live EDM band with a drummer, producer/DJ, and little old me on the low end again. I like it there. The rumbling is fun.
