Disclaimer: It is Summertime and the heat is hot out, so the Afro(out of the leus) is gone right now, but it will rise when the weather gets cold Update: I ended up keeping my fro, so the Afroleus is back. A brief introduction: I am DC born and raised, but I would love to travel and see the world in 5th gear. 5'6, 140 pounds of pure thoughts. Slim build, chocolate complexion. I left the world of television and a large majority of most shows, so I couldn't keep up a conversation with GoT as much as Dr. Who. For entertainment other than my aggregates (FB, Reddit, etc.), I watch non-commentary walkthroughs of video games as my Netflix. I also frequent Trigun, JoJo's' Bizzare Adventures, and a few other anime's when I need intensity. There are many video games that would rival current and previous shows of the decades in how much story and hidden life lessons the producers put in there. I am not interested in sports unless it's drifting or motorsports (although I also keep up with it on a seldom basis) Note: I dislike Nascar, but not for the reason you might think. What I do love to do: I like to ride my bicycle (BICYCLE), and often run errands and make grocery trips on my Diamondback (I get Insights on it for a reason) Disclaimer: I am actively looking for a new bike, because good ol' Diamondback got taken away by the rental office for being illegally locked :( | I like to jog when I have energy (explanation for this later on) Update: Now I actively go to the gym (I help two friends lose weight) and dance around town because I love house music and busting moves and having fun. That is all I focus on when I am out and about, and all I want to do, is make others smile with my silly dance moves. | I like to listen to music. Monstercat is what usually listen to. I like all genres except country, but I have been having a preference for electronic music and techno, with smooth jazz and old school R&B right behind it. d(O.O)b | Cooking is one of my passions when I can do it. I like to cook Oriental fare food, with american right beside, and anything else that catches my eye. I read Cook's Illustrated, Food Network, any magazine that catches my eye with a recipe I might want to burn up. | I love to drive. Even though I only have my permit, me and cars have a deep thread. The feeling of shifting from one gear to another, or putting the key in, parking (even if its in a rush), or just taking a nap in the car from a tiring day. It is intense for me. I am trying my best for a license so i can get back to what I am do best-SHIFTING. I have my license test on Sept 22. Wish me luck! Then I will get a car, and start my dreams!! Disclaimer 2- I am a safe driver, no errent reckless driving. I am just describing a feeling you would readily say the same for, but for your own deep interest. I do partake in video games. Every genre but sports games. I am a PC gamer first, console second (although I since I am neutral in all affairs, I see the console as well as the PC equally) I play DOTA every now and then, mostly racers like GRID, Driver, FLATOUT, and Simraceway. When not on those, I play FTL, Dungeon Siege, Divine Divinity, and whatever I feel like playing in my steam library. I play The Crew, Rocket league, and Crysis now too I play DOTA 2 and want to get competitively in the next year. I love playing Chaos Knight and Troll Warlord! Explanation for energy (also why I stay in my house most of the week, even though I have become pretty active now) Update: My life has gotten back to normal for the most part. I am out of my house almost all days at the week, if not going to the gym, then I am hanging with friends, or re-exploring DC. These past few months have been hard. I started going in and out of the hospital for what I thought was perpetual food poisoning, but after the second admittance, it was revealed a possible confirmation of IBD, or more specifically, Crohns. Even though every day is progress, for the most part, I usually have only enough energy to be outside a few hours a day, and never away from my pills. I can never predict when a flair-up is going to happen, and how long out of commission it is going to place me, so I live in a constant state of introverted caution. I am still an introvert, but I am more comfortable with it now. I am not a Rico Suave, but a Rico. Update: I had surgery, and they took out the small part of my intestine. I take Humeria every 2 weeks to keep my condition in check, and my life is slowly getting back to normal, especially since my drinking age. It is getting better, but with my local chum buddies achieving what they want, and becoming busier, the life of a friendly hermit is the one for me. I am still a friendly hermit, but I am exploring my social side. It's been interesting besides learning which are my favorite drinks, and how to have fun without being not-me.
