I’m Matt, 35 and living in San Antonio. I think my friends would say that I’m down-to-earth, reliable, and all about finding balance in life. Like spending my free time kicking back with friends for a game night or checking out new restaurants (I’m always willing to try anything once) or events in the city, whatever’s going on. Weekends usually involve a mix of relaxing with some NBA basketball, TV or movies, then maybe an impromptu adventure if the mood strikes. Have been big into D&D also but currently don’t have a group going. If you’re into good food, spontaneous plans, and great conversation, we’ll get along just fine!

Physically I’m 6’0”, have short blonde hair and hazel/brown eyes. Currently at 225 lbs and I’ve been working on fitness—lost 70 lbs this past year and still making progress, though I’ll admit, I’m not exactly jumping for joy when it’s time to hit the gym haha. But hey, consistency is key, right?

To get a sense about me, if we’re driving, expect to hear 2000s pop-punk and emo (MCR, Taking Back Sunday, anyone who has ever played Warped Tour), some current pop, and a bit of alternative rock mixed in. Also an unashamed Taylor Swift fan, don’t think I meet the levels of the real Swifties out there but 1989 TV topped my Wrapped this year so there’s that. I’m also big into sports podcasts and movie breakdowns—always up for new recommendations!

An ideal first date for me would be something chill—grabbing a bite to eat, checking out a local event, or maybe seeing who can beat who at an arcade game. Had an itch for some mini-golf lately haha. I’m all about good vibes and seeing where the conversation goes.

I’ll be honest, I tend to be shy or anxious when getting to know new people or in new situations but once I’m comfortable with someone I’m in their corner 100%. I value communication, empathy, and openness in relationships, and I’m looking for someone who’s down-to-earth, kind, and ready to build something real.
