⚠️Please note: I am wordy. Extremely wordy. I’ve tried my best but I also want to be as specific and explain myself as much as possible, so I’ve ended up writing a bit of an essay. You have been warned. ⚠️

Basically what the title says. I’m a Christian who tries to stick to the Bible, and I’m looking for my life partner. But I’m also a nerd and into a lot of things that ostracize me from a lot of my peers, so I’ve turned to the internet.

To start off, in the interest of complete transparency I’d say I’m firmly planted on the libertarian-conservative side of the aisle. While I don’t believe you need to agree with your partner on everything, I understand that politics can be a big dealbreaker for some people.

I’m also a pretty serious Christian. While I don’t require my partner to be religious, I don’t want a partner that’s going to disrespect my religion or push (no matter how gently) me to sin or bend/break rules. Also, my religion informs pretty much every part of my life, so we wouldn’t be able to just “not talk about religion.”

Now that 99% of you have left, let’s continue: I’m a huge nerd and I have a variety of interests, such as Transformers, Anime, History, Reading, Hiking/camping/general survival, board games, and much much more. This list is by no means exhaustive, and of course, you don’t have to be interested in all the things I am, just okay with me liking them/talking about them. I also have 1 indoor cat and 3 outdoor cats. I love going to cons and shopping but besides that I’m more of an introvert, and the partying, clubbing, going to bars, etc. isn’t something I’m interested in at all. I also really don’t care for sports.

Now for something that a lot of you will call BS on, but it’s true: I truthfully do not care for looks. Yes, I have body types that I’d superficially prefer, but I’ve never had a crush on a girl based on her looks. I only become attracted to someone if her personality is similar enough. If we get along like a house on fire, then I’ll naturally end up developing a crush on her and I’ll become enamored with her looks as well. Basically, looks doesn’t make me like the person, the person makes me like the looks. With that in mind, I also don’t care if you smoke (as long as it’s not inside, of course), vape, etc, and I don’t have an age preference as long as you’re legal and like, under 30 (meh, under 40…) I don’t care if you have tattoos, I don’t care if you’re a furry or if you have a weird fashion sense or if you like feet, as long as you think you’d get along with me I’m game!

I will also note that I really like where I live and for a variety of reasons I can’t see myself moving too far, so if that’s a dealbreaker for you I understand. I don’t mind long-distance though (at least for a while) and I like to take relationships at a pace we’re both comfortable with, so any sort of discussion about meeting up or moving would happen after a while, at the very least after we’d gotten to know each other and become comfortable with each other. Ditto for pictures; I definitely don’t want to sext or anything, but before we get too serious I’d want some (SFW!) live pictures for verification of course (again, one we got to know each other).
