The one that gets you in the zone, where you feel invincible. Makes you feel like you're 16 again and the only thing you worried about was if that one person liked you or not. The song you could close your eyes to and sing loudly without a care. Makes your heart pump, makes you smile.

I wanna make someone feel that way.

I feel like romance is dying. No one is their true self and images matter more than substance. Where's the people who love spontaneous dates, sneaking away from the friend group for a kiss, blasting music in the car, thoughtful gifts, driving just to drive, holding hands at the movie theater, roller skating to 2000's club/pop music, sparklers and lightning bugs on fourth of july, beach walks at night, window shopping cuz we're broke?

I miss the vibe of the world before covid. Where life was real and loud and fun. No hiding inside, no face buried in the phone, no mindless tiktok. Now I won't lie, I do these things all the time. But I'm tired of it. I wanna feel again. I wanna be wild like a person in their 20's should be. Where'd all the fun go?

I close my eyes sometimes and try to remember. I hear the roar of a concert crowd, I smell the wind in my face with the windows down in the car, I feel the hand of someone who cares wrapped around me, I taste the 420 and the nicotine, I see life in color and vibrancy. I need to feel that again. Everything is so boring and grey, so AI coded and algorithmic. There's no originality, there's no spark.

I want new hobbies. All I do is play games, get bored, scroll on my phone, get bored, and the cycle repeats. I wanna play clue in a basement surrounded by Doller General snacks. I wanna play Guitar Hero to Flyleaf and fail miserably at bass. I wanna make a galaxy with glow in the dark stars all over my room. I wanna swim in a pool filled with neon glowsticks. I wanna ride a boat on a lake and watch the clouds. I wanna walk through a pine forest and feel the chilly fall air.

I wanna live.
