Hey hi hello ForeverAloneDating, it's my first time around these parts. I think I've held some reservations about posting here in the past due to some misconceptions on my part, but I'm dipping my toe in the pool hoping to find the person I've been looking for!

I'm a goofy kind of guy, I like to be joking around and playful and perhaps excessively romantic. I've been told I have a golden retriever kind of energy and I have untreated ADHD, so I apologize for the fact that my mind is always thinking about a million things and I will probably pick your brain about all of them! I don't really play with my cards close to my chest, at least if I feel like you are being genuine about yourself and upfront then I will respond in kind, so take that for what you will. I'm currently working third shift at a hospital and have generally been a night owl in my daily life, so if you're early to bed and early to rise, well..we might be missing each other for the next year or so, if the chemistry and everything else is perfect.

Ive played almost 100 hours of Deadlock in the last two weeks outside of work, if that gives you any indication of what kind of nerd we're talking about. I have friends all over the country that I keep in touch with, so discord is a staple communication platform and I am a denizen of the internet - I observe internet lolcow culture (as a guilty pleasure, I don't think bullying or shitty behavior is acceptable as a rule). I was a precocious kid and read quite a bit in high school, however I haven't really read that much as of late. The last book I was reading was The Midnight Library and I haven't finished as of yet, but it was definitely quite the read.

I have a dog that is my world, I am 5'6 and maybe 180ish pounds which is the heaviest I've ever been - I do think physical attraction has its place even if I consider myself a demisexual, so please don't be shy with sharing pictures just to ensure we are mutually attracted to each other! If you generally like nerdy white guys, I think I will pleasantly surprise you. I've rock climbed in the past, I love Midwest emo/modern postemo (hot mully, origami Angel, good hangs, etc) music but don't really adore concerts - at least, I don't want to be in the pit getting moshed around. I'm generally a kind of socially anxious homebody, although I do enjoy getting out for small social activities and stuff. I love binge watching TV shows and having deep conversations about anything and everything.

I don't want to turn this into a literal novel (oops, I probably already have) but I want you to have a kind of idea of who youre reaching out to. As long as this is up, I promise I'd love to chat!
