Am I too old for this? Well I don’t think so, at least I certainly hope not. I still believe that love is out there, so why not try Reddit.

Even though when I scroll down in this subreddit it is probably at least 95% younger >35yo people, I’m hoping that all ages including mine are searching for a meaningful relationship. I’ve been divorced for nearly 6 years now. I’m sure we can all agree that finding someone these days is so very difficult. I’ve tried many different dating sites without any success.

Enough about the past. See I really have no problem approaching, meeting or even talking to anyone. However when it comes to taking it to the next level in the conversation and asking for a date I completely freeze up. I’m a great guy and can even supply references upon request lol. I have a very quick wit and absolutely love to laugh. I’m Jack of all trades including a chef. I like to hold hands and kiss in public and cuddle at home. I love a good practical joke especially if it’s being played on me, at work I tend to stir the pot (pardon the pun because I’m actually a chef) then stand back and watch the fireworks lol. My motto in life is that it’s way too short not to be having a good time. Don’t get me wrong I can be serious if the situation requires it.

I’m not looking for perfection or even someone that necessarily thinks like me. Imagine if everyone in the world all thought the same way, it would be a pretty boring place. However I do insist on tolerance in all aspects in life. I personally don’t give a damn what religion you are or aren’t, your political beliefs or what anyone wants to identify as. As long as you believe in facts over lies, can have an intelligent conversation or insist on changing the other, I’m good.
