Hello! While I may be Museless, I'm still able to keep myself fairly well entertained. However; I would like to add some romantic companionship to the mix. I'm most interested in finding someone who is also living their live in a fulfilling manner, and looking to find someone to compliment it, but not ‘complete’ it. I'm not looking for my ‘other half’, I'm quite whole, and ideally they would feel the same.
I've come to realize I'm not good at long distance without the potential for meeting in person. So unfortunately I'm only looking to find someone within an a couple hours drive of the Greater Boston area at most.
Got my vasectomy last November. I'm committed to a child free lifestyle. Doesn't mean I hate kids, I just want to focus on practicing making them, but not actually making them.
I'm an artist, and work in the arts as a Preparator in a museum. I've been working in museums for a couple decades now, and find it incredibly rewarding in all sorts of ways. Getting to be alone in the galleries, handling the artwork, and creating ways to display and install it in interesting and safe ways is pretty amazing.
I'm also trying to focus a bit more on my own creative endeavors, the last couple years has been a lot of experimenting with ceramics, paper making, 3D printing, metal working, and wood working. I have a whole list of goals for myself to keep me motivated.
I'm an avid consumer of Sci-f1/Fantasy popular culture, including the Marvel and DCU cinematic universes. I don't currently have a group, but I have been a long time table top RPG player, and while I don't find myself making much time for it I have always enjoyed video games.
I enjoy nature, and try my best to fit in some outdoor time. I like a moderate hike, kayaking, or biking. I'll often bring my camera hiking or kayaking, and enjoy getting fun nature and wildlife photographs.
Lifelong animal lover, I have two dogs and some fish currently. My last cat passed away, but I just started volunteering at a local animal shelter in the cat room. I'm going to try resisting adopting, but it's been nice helping out and socializing the kitties!
If my schedule and finances allowed I'd travel more! Next trip might be back to Thailand for an artist residency, but Japan, Korea, Cambodia, Vietnam, Belize, Mexico, Columbia, Peru, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, etc, etc, all on the list.
Politically I'm very left leaning/progressive on most issues (Bernie Sanders, AOC sort of vibe).
