Pre-warning: This is gonna be very off the cuff and all over the place - I hope you do not mind!

Hello! As the title says, I'm a 24 year old nonbinary person (AMAB) who lives near Manchester. I'm posting here because dating apps do not work for me, and due to anxiety, I struggle to form connections IRL. The understanding part comes from the fact that I have autism, ADHD, and OCD. I am quite on top of it, but I do struggle with a few things (I hope you understand!)

So, about me! I LOVE music - I spend most of my time listening to either my ridiculously long playlist or some random album from two decades ago. It's such a joy finding obscure music or anything strange and experimental. I love being recommended songs, and recommending songs back. I listen to pretty much every genre, so don't feel embarrassed if you think I may not enjoy something! For example, a friend sent me a few K-pop songs one time, which I enjoyed. My main genre is noise rock, but I love anything unique, loud, or fast. Country, jazz, classical - if it's music, I'll probably find an artist/band in the genre I enjoy!

Some of my favourite bands include: Bloc Party, Meat Wave, Protomartyr, Orchid, Bucket Full Of Teeth, Exit_International, Nasum, Coroner, Extortion, Hummingbird Of Death, Bubblegum Octopus, and Everything Everything.

I have even gone so far as to visit America on two separate occasions to see bands that reunited, which was a lot of fun. Do you like travelling? Have you travelled anywhere?

I'm also big into manga, with Berserk being my all time favourite series followed by One Piece and Hunter x Hunter. Some other favourites include Sakamoto Days, Monster, Kengan Ashura, Dragon Ball, Toriko, and Kase-san.

As for novels, I adore House Of Leaves, NOS4A2, and Robinson Crusoe.

As for things I very much dislike: Harry Potter (and by extension Rowling), Fairy Tail, Bloober Team, bigots, racists, people who use the word 'woke' unironically, unwillingness to try new things.

Appearance wise! I have brown hair that I am growing out (I may bleach it soon), a few piercings, glasses, and some tattoos. I mainly wear band t-shirts (shocker) and boots. I go to the gym somewhat regularly and lost circa 25 kg since I started going to the gym two years ago. I'm still a little bit squishy, but I am almost to my goal! 5'10" or thereabouts, in regards to height. Masculine in appearance, but I'd love to try makeup sometimes, as well as feminine clothing.

My type(s) are those in the alt/goth/punk scene. I love short, colourful hair, tattoos, piercings, and fun, unique clothing! I also do not mind if you are 'plain' (for lack of a better word)! I prefer those who are average or slightly above average weight, squishy, lean, or muscular. Height or anything else does not matter to me. I also really like freckles and distinct features (noses and smiles, especially), and don't in the slightest mind scars, body hair, 'blemishes', etc.

I do think physical attraction is important, so I hope you do not mind if we get that out of the way. I will say if you are not my type, and I would appreciate the same courtesy.

Some other things about me: vegetarian of around ten years, I do not wear leather, my favourite game is Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time, I am a collector of figures, vinyl, set lists, games, etc., I do not mind small talk, and I'd love to learn how to play the drums sometime!

Lastly: I love yappers! Please tell me about your day, your interests, things you find interesting or funny, and share memes at any point in the day! I do not mind if you double text (I actually enjoy it). I'd prefer if, like myself, you are online often, but that is not a deal breaker. I am not the type to mind long response times, and I hope you do not mind fast responses (my memory is terrible so I tend to reply as soon as possible).
