Hello again!! After quite the successful post on this sub a couple of years ago, (meeting a great person - unfortunately things didn’t quite work out), I am back searching again!!

I’ve just got back onto the dating apps, and remembered how lacking they are for finding a decent connection, hence the return to Reddit! I’m looking for a deeper connection that leads to irl!

About me: - Now 29 years old (30 at the end of the year… dreading that!) - Still 5ft7 and slim - Still Child free - ISTJ-T Type (If that means something to you) - Full Time Engineer - I have successfully moved into a more experienced position! - Still a Part Time Degree Student but I’m down to the last few months (it’s been a long and stressful 5 years!!)

Enjoys: - Watching/Playing Sport (usually football and F1) I will watch almost any other sport but cricket, cause that’s woefully boring! - Socialising with friends, usually in a pub somewhere but I guess it’s what a stereotypical British guy does! - Binge watching the latest series - recent watches being drive to survive, Masters of the Air and just rewatching sitcoms! - Music wise, it’s a mix of indie and edm, usually I just have radio 1 on as background noise - Very Casual Gamer - as in I now play games once in a blue moon, usually if something mainstream has been released on either Xbox or switch then I may play it - Wants to travel more - this is something I have been lacking since covid, I want to see more of the UK and the world beyond, more of a let’s go and see/do things rather than sit on a hot beach for 2 weeks kind of person - I do enjoy going for drives no matter the distance, I realise I should probably get out of the car more rather than aimlessly drive about!

You: - 24-34 years old (Flexible on that if there’s a connection) - Someone who enjoys being somewhat active - would like to go out and try new hobbies with the hope we find an interest that we both enjoy - Preference for UK as it’s a lot easier to meet (I’m from the North West - so think Liverpool/Manchester sort of region) if you’re further afield and think we’d be a great match then reach out! - Enjoys visiting new countries/places - Someone who wants a long term relationship - in my early to mid twenties I was primarily career focused so relationships weren’t a priority, it’s only been the past couple of years that I have realised I want that special someone in my life
