Really tired of being alone. I consider myself to be a hopeless romantic, and for various reasons I have never actually dated anyone before. When I was in high school, I had really heavy crushes on girls (and miss having them), but the girls I liked never liked me back. It always felt like I was competing for their attention, and this is something that I really want to avoid in the future. As a result (sort of), I am posting here in the interest of finding someone who I can obsess over and who can obsess over me. I'm looking for someone who I can talk with endlessly - both online and in person. I'm in pursuit of something mutual; I want us to feel more secure when we interact with each other - we should build each other up. Also, I'm touch-starved af.
I currently live in London in a student accommodation but am more than happy to travel to find someone. Don't hesitate to message me even if you don't live super close! I live near two major train stations and have access to the rest of the U.K. as well as mainland Europe via the Eurostar/Ryanair. I also visit the US very often and there is a possibility that I will move back after graduation.
Physically, I'm about 5'10/177 cm tall and weigh about 160 Ibs/72 kg. I'm Latin American with light brown skin and straight black hair. I'd say my body type is a normal build. I’m broad-shouldered and happy to trade selfies to establish attraction. I speak English and Spanish. I was raised in California and did my bachelor's there but I'm currently studying for a master's here in London in a discipline involving the built environment. I'm DDF and vaccinated, rarely drink, and do not smoke.
As for non-physical traits, I like watching movies/documentaries/youtube, cooking/baking, cafe/restaurant hopping, exploring, or just looking at memes. I used to be into gaming (Forza, Halo, Destiny, Minecraft) and stopped a while back, but I want to get back into it. I'm into a variety of music - hip hop, alt rock, pop, dance, etc. To be completely honest, I'm not into clubbing and partying. I also have a dark sense of humor. I'm really into traveling - I finally did two long solo trips after being stuck inside (thanks COVID): one to Japan and another to mainland Europe and Morocco. I'm also an INTP - I've been pretty introverted my entire life which has been very annoying, always been a bit of a loner. It didn't help that I had pretty strict parents growing up, nor did COVID lockdowns (I did most of my undergraduate degree online due to the pandemic). I might be slightly shy at first but hopefully eventually even the silent moments between us won't be awkward.
