Hi I'm an anxious romantic introvert but im trying to overcome my anxieties and put myself out there a bit more, lately my loneliness has been really bothering me so im hoping to change it a bit and try to find people to talk to with the hope of it leading to something serious. Ideally id like to talk to people from the UK so we have a chance to maybe meet one day. For people who don't get out much like me, meeting new people and having it lead to a relationship in real life seems so difficult.
I had a pretty normal social life up until uni where i unfortunately developed an invisible illness, i managed to finish my degree and worked for a while but eventually had to stop working due to it, i do miss working and would like to get back to it one day if im able but I'm primarily focusing on my health and happiness at the moment, i know this will likely put a lot of people off but i want to be honest up front otherwise whats the point. In a way id prefer to meet people in similar situations as i feel like they may be more understanding of my situation and less judgmental as a result. When covid happened i basically shut myself away from the world and my social skills and anxieties have never really recovered but im determined to get better and try and get out at least a bit more.
There's pictures of me on my profile for those who want to see, it would be nice if you're willing to send pictures eventually too but im happy to just talk for a while first to see if we get along as long as you're nice and kind. Hopefully ill hear back from some people, maybe you could tell me your age and location and a bit about yourself.
