Hello everyone, just like everyone else on here, I'm hoping to find someone that is looking for the same, that one person you can always talk too when you feel like you can't turn to anyone else, that person who just talking to them can put a smile on your face, someone who you can enjoy life together with, through the big and small things, and through the good and the bad.

For the last two years I just kind of assumed after trying hard that I was just going to be alone and that was going to be my normal, but having recently seen some of my good friends finally finding someone who made them happy, I decided it was time to give this another shot, so here I am.

About me: Currently living with some friends in Western Maryland, I'm 33 and work really crazy hours in a factory. I am a father and my son lives in California with his mother. I am a bit of a nerd, enjoying my video games, board games like D&D, and I also enjoy making things with my 3d printers and my laser engraver (everything is quite busy as Christmas production is in full swing making things for my friends). I also really enjoy cooking, and I'd like to think I'm pretty decent for a home cook. I own two cats, a leopard gecko, and a ball python so if you're not open to at least being around reptiles, well I'm sorry then.

I'm not looking to jump into anything straight away, that's where I've fallen into traps in the past and I really don't want to be hurt again. I'm hoping to just start off with a few messages back and forth, see how we click and get along, maybe play a few games or just chill and vent about work frustrations and see where things go from there.

As for the woman I'm looking for, preferably someone between the ages of 25-40, but if we really hit things off, then that's not really an issue then. All I really care about is that we are able to get along, things like looks aren't even secondary, maybe tertiary but that's way down the list of important things. Would love for someone closer to home, but the distance doesn't matter for the right person.

I think I've spent enough time looking at this, and I really should get some sleep for work.
