It’s been a while since I’ve tried dating and I figured ey, why not give Reddit a shot. My past Reddit posts hadn’t done well because I just got a lot of people who were just completely incompatible with me so this will be a fairly long post (sorry) just to kinda describe who I am and what I’m looking for. I’ll also try my hardestest to respond but I usually get like over 100 messages with these things and obviously I know I can’t hold that many conversations very well at once.

Im Star! Im 24 and I am a college student also working as a teaching assistant in biology. I have 7 lovely pets, 4 of which are special needs rescues and they’re my absolute babies. I also volunteer at a vegan animal sanctuary taking care of special needs animals. Have you figured out that I love animals?

I like doing arts and crafts, watching movies/YouTube/TikTok, and I occasionally play video games. Would always be down to play PlateUp or Escape Simulator with someone. I only have a PC, no PlayStation or Xbox or anything.

I have a lot of mental health issues that are fairly well managed by therapy and medication but it’s still something my partner will have to deal with. I struggle a lot with major depressive disorder, and I also have GAD and PTSD. I also have insomnia as well for a little spice.

Im a clingy-ish partner. Definitely a romantic. I love flirting, pet names, and all the cutesy stuff. Not that big into NSFW things, especially not at first. Im in the CST timezone so hopefully you’ll be around there. I don’t have a car so I ain’t gonna be the one to drive to you.

Im short, have short hair and a more masc style, slightly chubby. I guess my type in guys is long hair (my favorite thing in a guy), and a slim, athletic, or average build. But don’t let those things stop you. I think 28 would be my age limit that I’m comfortable with. I don’t smoke or drink really anymore due to past issues. It’s okay if you drink but I would really prefer someone who didn’t smoke at all. It wouldn’t be good for my animals either.

I prefer to talk to people on discord. I have a snap but I rarely use it. I’m sure we could move to actual text messaging eventually.
