I've tried the dating apps and they kinda suck or are just average at the best of times. I'm wondering if reddit might do better.

So a bit about me: I'm an introverted extrovert. I love being around people at times and can interact well with others, but then I need my alone time after. That makes me a pretty good partner to take to a party or event or something where I can just be charming for everyone. I love learning languages and speak several, which connects to my love of traveling. It's one of the things I'd love to do with a partner at some point. I've done it a few times in past relationships and those were always the highlights! I love cooking and baking as well and my secret dream is to be a famous instagram baker except I don't really follow through on actually building that up :( I love playing video games as well, it's my primary de-stressing activity after work. I work a pretty good job, make a good amount to live comfortably now. I've spent most of the last few years really focusing on this so it's nice to take a break a bit and focus on a relationship, short or long term. I like working out as well, and try to do that, but not as often as I probably should...

So who are you? Well someone who can complement me well. I can be intense at times, so someone more laidback, who can bring lightness and laughter into things that we can build on with each other. I do appreciate someone who can hold an interesting conversation, bring up fun facts, random knowledge they've gathered and who has a strong sense of where they're going. I prefer someone older. Physically, as long as you generally take care of yourself, that's good for me. I've got a soft spot for someone who can give strong cuddles though.

So here's the ask. Low stress, a short summer fling to get things started and we see if we want to continue beyond that. Online or in person if you're around the Bay Area in California is good.
