Hello! This is me! Currently bored at work and definitely not slacking off on a Friday morning. Thought I might write up something for all you strangers

Sorry about the new profile, ended up forgetting my password and email on my old one lol, but I promise I'm real, and definitely not an emotionless robot, maybe slightly lonely and sad, but aren't we all?

Anyways, a little bit about me:

I'm 27 years old, 5'8" and with that nice dad bod aesthetic. I work as an engineer in NJ, but a short bus ride to NYC (so we can go do some fun stuff not I'm suburbia).

I recently have gotten back into fitness (though been slacking a bit cause of new video games 😂). But, I'm mainly into rock climbing for fitness, but I have been trying to run a bit more. I currently boulder V2-3s, with a ton of failed attempts at v4s. Looking for someone to help me get into top roping.

I definitely like cooking! Maybe not daily, but I love cooking time to time. And I like to try new recipes. I haven't burned down any houses yet, so that's got to mean something!

Personality wise, I'm definitely on the shy side and am the classic: bad at small talk, nerdy, introvert. But, I definitely do become more extroverted if I'm around people I know. If you somehow are able to drag me out and get some drinks in me, I definitely get louder and may want to get on the dance floor with my terrible moves 🕺.

I will say though, I'm not usually one to open up emotionally about private things and such, even with friends and family. Though oddly enough, I do open up with random strangers online 😂.

As for hobbies besides cooking and rock climbing, to the woes of some, I am definitely a gamer. I've played about every type of games you can think of ranging from League of Legends, Valorant, TFT and World of Warcraft.

I'm a competitive guy, so I usually lean towards harder type games or multiplayer games. Other than that, I'm into all other things nerdy, like manga, reading, D&D, etc. I'm also a huge fan of fantasy, especially Brandon Sanderson!

What I'm looking for:

I don't mind if you're not into the same things as I am, but I am a nerd and introvert at heart. So I'm looking for someone who understands that and doesn't mind me binging a new game video games or spending a night reading. It's the main way I connect with my friends. But, having said that I also want someone to push me out of my comfort zoneand explore the world too.

I would prefer someone in my area, cause I'm evern more awkward over the phone than in person.

Now I got a request for you, since I spent some time writing this up.

Start out your conversation with something other than hi 😊. Ask me a question, tell me your favorite anything. What's the coolest fun fact you know? Act as an old friend, I wanna skip that awkward phase of: A: Hey, how's it going? B: Good, you? What are you up to? A: Nothing much, just at work B: Oh cool, what do you do?

Probably just because I'm terrible at small talk.
