Aaaaaaaalright. Not here to waste anyone's time so I figured I'd get all those potential dealbreakers/red flags out of the way right on the title. Speaking of potential dealbreakers, here's my face https://imgur.com/a/dzLf8V9. Also if you didn't get the hobbit reference, I'm 5'5".
I'm in NYC but you can be from anywhere in the US/Canada. Please be at least mid-late 20's. Due to my work schedule, it's hard to keep contact with people in my time zone, so I very much welcome someone further west. That being said, long distance is not only open but also encouraged. Please be okay/comfortable with that. I believe if there's enough communication and mutual interest then distance shouldn't matter. Which brings me to the most important aspect: the communication itself. I work the afternoon-evening shift at my job, so I don't have a lot of time to get back to messages. However, if I get a chance, and especially once I'm out of work, I want to spend that free time on you. I understand we all have lives, and things get in the way, but please be able to make time for someone if you're interested in getting to know them. Most important, be real and consistent. If you approach me with a certain energy, keep it going. I'll be excited to talk to you on Reddit, and even more so when we decide to move to another platform, so please be able to reciprocate that. Let's not have to chase each other. You don't have to share a pic, but please do tell me about yourself and why you think we'd get along. I'm not picky about appearance. Just be cool, or at the very least accepting, with everything mentioned above, and below. Please have some level of post history. I can't take you seriously if you're profile is blank or if your account is just a few days old. Please don't message me if you're bored, lonley, or if you're not mentally/emotionally ready to connect with someone long term.
Now that all that is out of the way, here are some things about me:
Super passionate about electronic music. Of course you don't have to be, but it's honestly the one common ground I'd hope to have if I had to choose.
Love sci-fi, horror, fantasy, any genre that encourages escapism. That includes literature, film, shows, and video games.
Sense of humor. Within context, anything is funny.
INTP/Libra, if you're into that.
Always all ears. I'm no therapist, but I will do my best to give you the most objective advice as I can.
So onto some music! I'll list a few examples (with links, sorry if that's inconvenient for mobile users) of some sub genres of electronic music. Believe it or not, it's not all EDM or dubstep lol. If you also know these songs, or if you enjoyed any of the ones I've listed, let me know! :)
