Apologies in advance, this is gonna be a bit of a read haha :)

The name of this sub is appealing to me since, well.. I've never dated. I've never been on a date, I was in a very short relationship when I was 15/16 and haven't been involved since.

I'm an anxious person, very much an overthinker of everything. That is the main reason why I've been alone all this time. This likely stems from a LOT of childhood trauma, it's mostly processed but does still impact my life in certain aspects.

I'll describe myself a bit:

I'm 28, between 5'7" and 5'8", brown hair and eyes. I'm not sure of my weight at the moment but I am in the process of losing some, regular workouts and whatnot.

I very rarely drink alcohol, I smoked cigarettes for 12 years and quit October 2021 and haven't touched one since but I do still smoke weed, will get into that in a little.

Since I've never dated you can bet that I've been deep diving into the video game world in my spare time, it's my main pastime and would be nice to have someone to play with, I mainly play FPS like Valorant (my fav) and Overwatch but also play: Rocket League, Fortnite, CoD when it releases for a bit, Phasmaphobia, GTA and obviously single player games but won't go into that. I also make gaming content on YouTube and very occasionally stream. A Valorant Duo would be cool to have but it's also not a necessity. It would be nice if you are a gamer but im absolutely fine if you're not. (Btw I mostly game on PC but I have a PS5 and a Switch too, I also have an Xbox but most games are covered by the PC so I mostly use the Xbox for TV apps)

I also enjoy exercising when I can, watching series both animated and not (I don't really watch movies by myself but happy to watch them in company) and spending time with my family, I used to spend a lot of time with friends but I don't see them much these days. My second biggest love after gaming is music. Not specific to one genre, old music and new. Live music is also awesome, most recently saw Bullet for my Valentine and next I'm seeing Post Malone. I like everything from Beach Boys to Guns n Roses to Mac Miller and so on!

I'm at a point where I'm considering quitting weed too but I'm a little more hesitant about that for a few reasons, the two major ones being that I suffer with some chronic pain conditions and it makes it significantly easier to deal with and I also don't sleep well at all and it helps me to fall asleep. Other than that I only use it to relax in the evenings, it doesn't make me lazy or paranoid though I assume it does contribute a bit toward my anxiety, I'm unsure if that alone is enough of a reason to venture into life without it. (Plus, it makes enjoyable things more enjoyable 😄)

With regards to the pain stuff: I have Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) and Fibromyalgia as the two main culprits. Can be tough to live with sometimes and unfortunately doesn't seem to have any benefits. Due to this, I don't currently work, I am considered incapable of work at the moment but I'm optimistic that won't always be the case. I'm also starting the process of getting an ADHD diagnosis, recommended by my twin sister who has ADHD herself 😂

So that's about it for now, I understand that I'm not for everybody, regardless of that fact, I do have a type appearance wise but I can't necessarily put it into words as there's a lot of things I consider but if you're somehow interested, drop me a message we can talk a little to see how we get on and when comfortable can exchange pics!
