Why is America So Sex Negative?
Post Body

So I was replying to someone on another sub (I don't want to start a flame war so I will keep it private), but someone got all uppity because I commented about someone going abroad for sex work where it is legal. They went on because it is immoral and blah blah blah, but never took into consideration it is probably more dangerous and more of a pain in the ass if you order and escort in the US than elsewhere. I am tired of how emotions tend to control everyone. If we were talking about abortion, gun control, or universal health care, oh yes let's be like the rest of the world. But mention sex work and you seem like the devil himself.

Which reminds me of other times when I simply asked a question about this and people from both sides want to act like fucking assholes. Even people that are supposedly sex positive. Honestly I think in many ways Americans are just fucked up in the head and why I don't feel like I fit in.
