Let me first say that finding a romantic interest was not what motivated me in life (nor do I think it should be for anyone). I was okay with my singleness.

I had been shot down for all of these things more times than I could remember- "You're too short. You're stupid for not eating meat. What do you mean you don't want kids??? You will one day. I'll convince you. Oh i LOVE going out dancing and going on adventures. You're too weird." And if you're doubting whether or not Christianity is commonly a deal breaker, just take a look at how many redditors are on Atheism v Christianity.

But. God threw me a bone, I guess (Whether or not you believe is entirely besides the point). I found a vegetarian, Christian, childfree, introverted woman who does not mind my height or autism whatsoever :) on the contrary, she's openly fond of both.

Do not be anxious about this stuff, my friends. It'll only drive you mad. Live a confident single life and good things will follow. No one has ever entered a healthy relationship by being self-deprecating.

EDIT: A nice redditor was wondering if my wife is taller than me! We are about the same height. I’m 5’8 and I think she’s 5’7. She likes wearing heels so she can be taller than me- legitimately likes it, not picking on me haha. I know, I know, to many 5’8 isn’t short, but anyone who has been on a dating app knows that is not the case xD how many times have you read “if you’re under 6’0 don’t bother” ??? Ugh -___-
