I had a breakdown today
Post Body

So I recently got a job and at first I thought it was great because I graduated college a few months back and have been looking for a job since. The job is minimum wage at a pizza place. I'm not a delivery driver though and that's probably one of the biggest things that could make it bearable.

Anyways, I've only worked 3 days really with the first two being dedicated to training except for the last hour of two of each. Today was really the first full day I had to work and it was awful. The first few hours seemed tolerable and then all hell broke loose. Phone call after phone call came in and eventually there was a guy calling literally just to say "fuck off" in different ways. I was already struggling with my social anxiety due to me having trouble hearing on the phone sometimes and that just added to it. I think the most annoying thing was a guy who ordered 30 pizzas and then got pissed when he was told he couldn't have it delivered to him if he was going to pay with cash (idk, it's some policy) and then he just said to fuck off.

Add that I worked for 8 hours without a break and that seems to be the norm (I assume going for a delivery acts as a break to some extent but I don't do that so fuck me right.) Then add that I literally get one day of the week off and that the shittiest day of the week hasn't even happened yet according to all of my co-workers. Really makes me feel like my degree is pointless when this is the only job I could get.
