I know this might seem odd, but I wanted a group that was extra skeptical to poke this out. I work a spare job on the weekend and used to have a crappy boss. Now I have a boss that is 180, she is worried about me, pushes for raises, maybe a new position, talking about my smarts to my manager, offering to help if I need anything once we were out of work, offering flexibility as to where I work, etc. . She does seem nice overall, but I am just trying to piece together the favoritism. Not saying I am a horrible worker, but I am just chill as it is a part time job. We are also within a month of each other age wise and just seems puzzling. We also seem to look each other in the eyes. In and of itself I dont think much of it, but it is starting to puzzle me. Not going to do anything stupid, just more a bit puzzling. Anyone deal with this? I already am flexible (filling in here and there) and so that could be part of it. Just a bit of a pattern I am noticing but I know I am right 11 chances out of 5 , I am hesitant and plus just more trying to learn for my deficient social skills.
