How Does the Donation Bar Update?

I was wondering if the donation bar could be updated to see how many donations are coming in each day. For the last month the donation bar did not move for at least 1-2 weeks leaving us in the dark about that information. It went from ~8k to a jump of ~11k when the last newsletter released. Does that mean there were ~3k donations at the end of the month or are they just not being counted until the end?

I just want to know how the donation bar gets updated.

Thanks for everything this team is doing! I've followed Foregen's progress since 2018, and I'm so excited to see what the future holds. We're getting closer each day!
