I have a 05 taurus that continues to pop a p0193 code for fuel pressure sensor.

the sensor has been replaced twice at a shop in the last 2 years. a year ago the fuel pump and sensor were replaced and the tank was dropped and cleaned out. most recent replacement of the sensor was a little over a month ago.

the gas gage rarely shows the actual fuel amount and the digital readout is constantly changing after sitting EX: car read 73 miles until empty drove about 17 miles and parked the car. checked it again after sitting and the car ready 80 miles until empty. this was with more than a half tank of fuel ( there should be way more mileage until empty imo)

symptoms include: difficulty starting on a hill, low gas warning when parked on even a slight incline. inaccurate gas reading, difficulty filling tank ( pump will stop like its full even when tank is at low fuel levels after just a few dollars) poor mileage, fluctuating digital fuel readings.

where do i start in order to find the solution to this problem. i haven't been able to find any solid answers just googling i am hoping someone in here might be able to give this handy woman some direction.
