Post Body

My engine light was on, took it in for a check. Dealership told me that Cam Phaser failed.

Replacement and fix/labor was free of charge (thank god).

I ensured that they replaced the phasers with the updated parts (as opposed to slapping on the same faulty old phasers)

First day now I have had it back, started the truck this morning, and hear a rattle sound. Seems that the rattle goes away once I start driving.

wtf? Would they really give me the truck back with issues? Is this normal? Any idea?

Should I return the truck again and inform them of the new rattle?

Thank you!

Update: took it back. They had it overnight. Called me back and said the “rattle was normal” that nothing they could do, everything was good and “normal”

I see only people also saying that ford considers the wastegate rattle is the source and ford considers this normal. Any idea?
