My daughter and I were going to Lowe’s and as I pulled out onto the highway my left rear tire went over a realtor sign and spun a little.
Next I was unable to remove it from first gear. No matter what I did. Finally after getting the rpms up a little high (walking them up not romping it ) I was able to get it to release, but couldn’t get it to go into any gear , after moving the stick into different positions I realized something is out of place. Finally down the road I got it into neutral and couldnt shift any more even just into first.
Point of interest: If I shifted down and to the right which would be 4th gear it would put me into first gear and then become stuck .
I am just curious if this can be identified (please)
Is it better to buy another truck for 500 and just swap the transmission?
Educate me please. It’s the small family commuter/family tractor/ wood harvester/ soil mover / dad mobile / dog hauler / life truck .
Thanks all
