the transmission might be dead, the car died suddenly earlier and i was able to get to a walmart 2 lights away and i found out i had low transmission fluid so i went in and got some and when i put some in the car started but then it started smoking so i turned it off and let it sit for a half hour, i turned it on again and it was fine until i shifted into reverse and it wouldnt go, the wheels lock up when i put it in neutral and it only drives forward for a few feet until it stutters, it mightve overheated and basically welded itself together is what the walmart mechanic told me but he wasnt sure and cant check it out cuz they just closed the auto department and i dont have enough to pay but i was able to get a free tow from ubereats and i got it towed back to my friends house so i have the car now but it barely drives and it might just die in a few days, if anyone else can offer any suggestions on what could be wrong please let me know
