2004 xlt vibrations at highway speeds.
Post Body

Hey all, so recently I picked up a 2004 xlt in black for the wife just to go around town while I'm at work. I got the car at a good price knowing it needed some work done though for a 2004, it only had 150,000 miles on it. So far I replaced the blend door actuator motor, tires, battery, RR entire hub assembly, LR toe link, wipers, both front lower ball joints, and gave it an oil change and air filter. The problem is the car vibrates, and shakes at around 60 mph and gets worse the faster you go. Also when you let go of the gas it also shudders or vibrates pretty roughly on deceleration. Until then it rides great. Originally I thought it was the tires and hub assembly which I knew were completely shot when I bought it two weeks ago. Now after two alignments and all the new parts im left scratching my head. I thought maybe the U joints, my Dad who has not seen the car also pointed at that per the deceleration shudder. My question is there anything else i should look at? No smell of burning brakes either, or any metallic noises Id generally associate with a strut/ suspension issue. Also the garage looked the car over before doing the ball joints for me and didnt identify any other issues and didnt report anything while they checked it while hoisted that i wasnt already aware of. Thanks, also sorry for formatting am on mobile currently.
