Morning commute..low oil pressure warning while driving. Had changed oil pressure switch about a year and a half ago with one from O'Reillys. Symptoms then were low oil pressure warning at idle. Blip throttle and cleared. Changed switch and problem free til yesterday. This time higher RPMs made no difference. So I stopped at Autozone, picked up new switch. Got to work and explorer up on jacks. Oil soaked lower right side of engine. Oil was coming out of the oil pressure switch. Figure i lost a half quart. Changed switch and no more warning or leaks. Quick fix for 20 bucks on the switch and 8 for a quart of oil. Literally had just rolled 310,000 the night before!
