My 2001 explorer sport Trac just died this morning while driving. The red battery cable connector seems to be rusted and broken. When I press the connector onto the battery terminal, the lights turn on. But when I go to start the car, it all dies the moment I turn the key. I'm hoping I just need to replace the battery cable connector but has anyone experienced something similar?
