Hello my fellow Bronco owners. I am in desperate need of some help or ideas. I just recently bought a 92’ Bronco Automatic with a manual 4x4 shifter and there’s a problem. Anyways I’m not a big car guy, but I really want to get into to fixing cars. So I would appreciate it if you amazing people could shine some light or hope. So let’s cut to the chase. Whenever I put the truck in gear whether it be in reverse or in drive, the car begins to stutter and then end up stalling or the engine cuts out. I’m very concerned because I don’t want to cause more damage to my baby. The truck always turns on with Over Drive “on” with the Off light not being on. So whenever I turn the car on I immediately turn off overdrive thinking that was the problem, but I still get the same result. So I am a little confused at the moment.
Also I just took it to get my transmission flushed, The AC compressor replaced, the valve gasket replaced and my oil pan gasket replaced as well. The Spark plugs and wires have also been replaced as well.
If anybody needs me to explain it in a different way, just let me know!
Anyways I would really appreciate it if you guys can help a newly Bronco owner out.
Thank you!
