2013 Mustang.
As the title says, I’m preparing to register my car at the end of Nov. and I like to get started early. I have two issues that are impassable by state inspection standards. First being my windshield wipers don’t work. I’ve replaced the wiper assembly switch, the motor, only to find out it was the wiper control module that went haywire. I bought a new one from advanced auto parts, and mind you this fuse is located in the engine bay fuse box, and it didn’t work. Now it wasn’t a motorcraft fuse and I’m wondering if that’s most likely the issue. And if I replace said fuse would it be considered smart to attempt to reset the fuse box or not in the slightest, because it doesn’t sound great. Second issue are the airbags located in the front seats, for there are none. I replaced the stock cloth seats with two Corbeau RRS sport line racing seats, which of course do not have airbags. Because of this my airbag light is on, and I was wondering if that would be an issue, if so, how would I go about getting these lights turned off? I was planning on just swapping in the old ones for the day I do inspections but I’d rather not. Any feedback is appreciated, thanks.
